i have learned this method from an article by Francis Woodhouse at gamedev. it's have a very nice tutorial over there, and i don't think simply rewriting it here would make too much sense. my implementation is pretty much the same with just two little differences: mine is in nemerle, and i'm using 3 instead of 2 arrays. i think it's a bit easier and better to understand.
as to the variables c, d, mi and t - i'm very sorry but i'm not a physicist and i don't know their meaning. feel free to experiment with them. if anyone could please tell me what they are, i should be very grateful.
